DYNO TUNING INFORMATION

It is crucial to follow instructions and understand how the tuning process works. 

You can view our pre-dyno instructions and schedule a tune online.  

Once you've scheduled a tune and paid the deposit to reserve your slot, please allow a few days to receive a base map specific to your mods.  Your car will be perfectly fine to drive until the dyno tune given that it is mechanically sound.  E-tuning will be done prior to the dyno, this helps identify issues before the car is strapped to the dyno. 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• I DO NOT tune Opensource 
• I DO NOT tune Auto or CVT WRX/FXT’s
• NO CATLESS CARS UNLESS EXTERNAL WASTEGATE IS INSTALLED
• ACCESSPORT IS REQUIRED (version 3 is required for Speed Density and Flex Fuel tunes)
• CRACKLE/BURBLE TUNE IS INCLUDED (08+ cars only)
• VALET MAP IS INCLUDED
• YOUR PARTS MUST BE INSTALLED AT LEAST A WEEK PRIOR TO YOUR DYNO TUNE!
• YOU MUST PROVIDE ME A CRUISE LOG A WEEK PRIOR TO THE DYNO SESSION.  PLEASE KNOW THAT IF YOU DON'T, YOUR TUNE WILL BE RESCHEDULED
• YOUR TUNE WILL BE RESCHEDULED, IF YOUR CAR HAS A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT (THAT RONS NOT AWARE OF EARLIER) AT THE TIME OF YOUR APPOINTMENT
• NO PARTS INSTALLING IN OUR PARKING LOT.
• PLEASE AVOID INSTALLING PARTS LAST MINUTE AS IT ALMOST ALWAYS LEADS TO ISSUES.  THIS LEADS TO US HAVING TO CHARGE YOU EXTRA FOR REDOING INSTALLS AND  CAUSING THE NEXT CUSTOMER TO WAIT PAST THEIR APPOINTMENT TIME.

FAQ

• How much are retunes?     I don't quote retunes as pricing changes and everyone adds different parts.  Returns are always less than the initial tune cost.  The price of the retune completely depends on what is changing.  I can't give a blanket answer for someone adding a boost controller compared to someone adding a GTX40, ID2000's, FLEX FUEL and SPEED DENSITY.  
• Does it matter what time of year I get tuned?     No.  There are temperature compensations in the ECU to account for changes in weather.
